.:. KANDOR

               Help Information for Kandor

SIGIL:  A rearing red horse; the Red Horse
BANNER:  The Red Horse on a field of pale green
CAPITAL CITY:  Chachin
SYMBOLS:  The Throne of the Clouds, the Sword of Kirukan
RESOURCES:  Trade, Stone, Precious Metals

Kandor lies between the Border-nations of Arafel and Saldaea.
Of all of the Borderlands, Kandor has a thriving center for
trade, with a guild for merchants.  Kandori merchants have a
strong reputation, and bring much wealth into the nation from
trade with other lands.

Kandor is currently ruled by Her Most Illuminated Majesty,
Ethenielle Cosaru Noramaga, By the Blessing of the Light, Queen
of Kandor, Protector of the Land, Shield of the North, and High
Seat of House Noramaga.  Queen Ethenielle sits on the Throne of
the Clouds, and wields the Sword of Kirukan, the weapons of all
Queens of Kandor.  The Sword of Kirukan is said to have been
carried by the legendary warrior-queen of Aramaelle, and it is
said to be a power-wrought weapon.  Legend says that Kirukan had
beheaded a false Dragon with her own hands, and bore two sons by
another man who could channel.  Or maybe the one she beheaded was
the same as the father of her children.

The Swordbearer carries the Sword of Kirukan for the Queen with
the hilt in easy reach, and commands the armies of Kandor.

Kandori men are recognized by their forked beards and the silver
chains worn over their coats.  Kandori also wear an earring, and
Kandori merchants often wear earrings that are quite ostentatious.
Members of the nobility also wear chains over their clothes and
earrings.

Mourning in Kandor:  Comforts are kept to a minimum in a house
of mourning.  Tea is unsweetened, and even temperature is kept
to a minimum.  Kandori also wear white, and hang white banners
outside their homes when they mourn.

.:. KILL

The terms HIT, KILL or MURDER no longer apply. For information about
engaging in code fighting, type: <help turn-based combat>

Also see
Policy PK.

:: Beginning

.:. KILLING

A Player Kill occurs when one player attacks another player. When
a PK is initiated, the players involved enter into code combat and
fight until one or more of them surrenders or retreats or dies.

Please keep in mind that Pkilling is always In Character. It is
highly advised that you read the Policy regarding Pkilling before
ever attempting it. To view this policy, type:
<policy PK>

Currently the
SUBDUE feature is not working. To avoid dying
in a Pkill fight you must retreat and escape the battle.

Also note that you no longer lose anything in the way of skills,
EXP or gold upon death.

-----------------------------[ Wisdoms ]-----------------------------

  The
Wisdoms are a group of women who are brought together by the ability
to
channel, or the spark, that most of the Wisdoms posses.  All of them -in
the books- were at one time in the
Tower. Some were sent away because they
were not strong enough to
Tower standards and others could not adapt to Tower
life, rules or whatever else. Not all cases are in the books so there is room
for speculation. Being that this is not the books, and that we are in a parallel
universe, the
Wisdoms do accept Wilders.  The Wisdoms have many rules, and
keep their secrets to themselves.  Although, it is later found that the
Tower
had almost always known of their existence.

*  Leaders within the Wisdoms are designated more upon respect than upon
   authority.

*  There are no extra chores for not getting a lesson done, as they do Aes
   Sedai
do to novices, and accepteds.  As a matter of fact, learning to

channel is -not- required, unless your RP leads in that direction.

*  Being able to channel is not a requirement, even the best Wisdoms within
   the books couldn't
channel a lick.

If you're looking for a guild that will be fun without bowing and scraping,
and treat you like family, then look no further.

.:. KNIFE HANDS

=============================================================
Sovin Nai (Knife Hands)
=============================================================
The society of the Sovin Nai trains almost exclusively with belt
knives
, and the art of unarmed combat. While knowledgable with
spears and bows, they are much more comfortable using only their
hands and feet, or a long belt knife.
