.:. CAPTURE

Subdue is a toggle for fights you mean to end without a death. When it is
on, a blow that would kill your opponent knocks them out and captures them
instead, whether they are a player or an NPC. A player who tries to flee
at their wimpy level may be caught the same way.

A captive follows their captor. They cannot walk away, change who they
follow, attack, sit, rest or quit, and though gentler weaves remain theirs
to try, they cannot start a violent weave. Being captured also takes a
channeler out of any circle they were part of.

A captive goes free when their captor releases them with unsubdue or
strays from their side, or when either of them is attacked. Otherwise the
capture wears off after a while, sooner if they were taken unhurt. A
wounded captive also goes free on recovering fully, but keeps following
their captor until they choose to stop.

Syntax:
> subdue
Switches subdue on or off, and tells you which.

> turn surrender
Offers to stop fighting. An opponent can take you up on it with
turn acceptsurrender <name>, which ends the fight and captures
you. Offering surrender sets aside any weave you were still gathering, and
an enemy who attacks you anyway simply ignores the offer.

> unsubdue <name>
Releases someone you have captured.

Example:
> subdue
You will now subdue in fights.

Duren wants Loth alive, so he turns subdue on before their duel. His last
blow captures Loth instead of killing him, and Loth follows him until
Duren releases him.
