CURRENT BPEDIT / WEB BODY PART EDITING bpedit <part>, NEW, LIST and DELETE <part> retain native bodypart editing. Native and web editing share locks; web tab leases expire after 30 idle minutes. Edit reclaims a free expired lease without losing the draft. Web Apply writes class_bodyparts immediately through the native SQL saver. Create can start blank or copy a part. Links use stable bodypart IDs and retain native reciprocal adjacency updates. Apply does not unlock. Delete is a hard SQL delete, just like native bpedit DELETE. Preview its warnings first: other parts and saved HP, structural state and wounds may reference it. Live definitions/pointers remain allocated until reboot. After reboot, missing definitions and their saved character parts do not load; saved references are NOT repaired or removed by deletion. Undelete recreates the row from its latest SQL history snapshot. History read/diff are read-only; restore stages an old version for locked Apply. SQL triggers archive exact old rows for every UPDATE/DELETE, including native REPLACE saves (one archive, not a second INSERT archive). |
