HAGGLE Haggle is a passive Sea Folk skill, not a command. A trained Sea Folk customer may bargain automatically when buying from or selling to a shop. A successful bargain lowers the purchase price or raises the sale price. The amount varies with proficiency and luck. Purchase prices cannot fall below half the normal price, and sale prices cannot exceed twice normal. LIST and VALUE show ordinary quotes, not a promised successful bargain.
